Free WiFi was a delight, although it distracted me from the lovely garden. Bowness-on-Windermere was just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Staying here was like having my own castle, only 45 km from Muncaster Castle!
Oh, did I mention that Muncaster Castle was 45 km away? Such a shame.

Lake views: As I sipped my morning coffee in the cozy kitchen, I couldn't help but be captivated by the stunning lake views. It felt like having my own personal postcard scene right outside the window.
Water pressure: The only minor issue was that the water pressure in the shower was a little low. But hey, a small trade-off for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Spark Bridge.

The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up our favorite meals. It made us feel right at home, and we loved cooking together as a family!
The shower in one of the bathrooms was a bit small for our liking. But others might not mind it.

The location of the hotel is superb, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and a soothing river in the back garden. Guests can enjoy the peacefulness and old-world feel of the quiet country atmosphere. the rooms are clean, spacious, and provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the shared garden and shed are also great additions, allowing guests to enjoy outdoor activities such as walking or storing their bikes.
One negative aspect is that the hotel is a bit isolated, with no local pub or shop nearby. Guests would need to have a car to access shops and other amenities in the area.

The location was superb, with breathtaking views of the river from the dining room and bathroom. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. the property was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay for both individuals and families. the property was well-equipped with necessary amenities, making it feel like a home away from home.
The shower, as it lacked a shelf within the shower cubicle for toiletries. This made it inconvenient, especially for older individuals or those with disabilities.
